Leap year runstreak: 29 days

Ok folks … it’s almost beach season (in Florida) and nearing wedding season.  We’ve got a couple half marathons in the books for the next few months, and we all need to shave off our holiday weight.

How about a good old fashioned #runstreak?

29 days of running every. single. day.  Even if it’s a mile on the treadmill during your daughter’s dance class.  At least a mile, running, every day, for all of February.

No matter the weather, no matter how much you had to drink last night, no matter how tired or emotional or hungry.  Just run.  Every day.

I’m generally a 4-day runner, maybe 3 with one cross-training workout.  I know that’s plenty but I want to kick up the calorie burn, build my endurance and kick up my pace a bit too – and the only way to do that is to RUN!

Who’s in?

Runstreak!

We are!

Add your link here, and tell us about your intentions!  How many miles do you want to run during your streak?  What (or who) are you running for?  Any ideas about how we can make this competitive and/or exciting?

  1. That sounds like fun! I’m not going to try until after my marathon in May – but you made me add something to my running bucket list. I’m really excited to see how it goes for you!
