I haven’t run since the marathon.
Not one single mile.
I had high hopes of getting up one morning this week to get a short 2-3 mile recovery run in – even put out my clothes and shoes twice. But the cool mornings … the warm bed … the full night’s rest …
I feel ok about it, but I need to get back into the swing of things this week for sure.
We don’t have any races on the schedule right now except a few fun 5ks (Turkey Trot, Jingle Bell run, etc.). But nothing I have to train for.
It’s funny: the weather is absolutely perfect for running right now too. You’d think I’d be more excited to get up and enjoy it. But bed. Oh bed.
Without a goal, how do you stay motivated? I need to put something on the calendar quick.
